Each day here has the same routine. We wake up at 7:20 (unless it's a Saturday or Sunday) and then we go to breakfast at about 8. Then by 9, were in rehearsal until lunch, then go back after until dinner. If were lucky we don't have to go back after dinner, but usually we'd go back for an hour or so. One night, we were out till nine. Other nights, we'd go home right after dinner. After we get back to the dorms, we hang out either in the lobby or our rooms, if we feel like just hanging out.
We've also had a couple master classes. One on acting with Dr. David Herendeen, and one on singing with JoBeth Moad. Both were extraordinary, and I learned more in that thirty minutes than I have in my lifetime.
Being here at OCU is definitely an experience I'm glad I've had. Its really taken my passion of musical theatre to a new level. Here, I learned to develop a belt, hit a high C, breathe properly, and hit cues correctly.
So in conclusion, I WILL be crying when I leave here. No doubt about it.
